Salmon Run Mall Partners with Non-Profits
(WATERTOWN, NY) The pandemic crisis has taken an immense toll on Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence County’s non-profit community organizations. Yet, demand for services from these organizations continues to increase while revenue-generating activities and events have been challenged due to shutdowns, safety regulations and social distancing requirements. That has left non-profits struggling to find ways to safely engage with the community at a time when their services are needed the most.
As a proud supporter of the tri-county North Country community, Salmon Run Mall has recognized this need and will be providing support once again with tabling space throughout the center, free of charge, to non-profits for fundraising, community engagement and awareness campaigns. All non-profits are required to adhere to Salmon Run Mall’s Healthy Shopper Guidelines, including the use of face coverings when on property and social distancing.
In 2019, Salmon Run Mall hosted over 100 nonprofit events and partnered with 28 different local organizations that utilized the Center for fundraising and awareness campaigns. Salmon Run Mall’s Community Report highlights the results of the Center’s collaboration with Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence County non-profit community organizations including the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Teams, American Red Cross, Children’s Miracle Network, Thousand Islands Habitat for Humanity, the Girl Scouts and more!
Non-profits interested in tabling at Salmon Run Mall can contact the Salmon Run Mall Marketing Department at [email protected] or call 315-788-9210, ext. 205.
