The Janitorial Cleaner, under the direction of Janitorial Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for performing janitorial duties for building and related areas. Quality customer service skills are required. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques is essential.
Responsibilities:
- vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of flooring and stairs
- clean and sanitize bathrooms
- clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, refrigerator in break rooms
- restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
- empty all trash cans and replaced liners, clean receptacles as necessary
- dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture that are not cluttered
- cleaning windowsills and windows
- maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
- proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals
- wearing of proper PPE at all times
- maintain vending closets in a clean, organized and safe manner
- other routine maintenance duties, as assigned

Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Education and/or Experience)
- 6+ months of related customer service and/or facility services related experience
- valid driver license
- floor care experience a plus

- attention to detail
Working conditions and/or Physical Requirements
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work in various physical positions, including standing, sitting, walking, bending, and repetitive movement
